"There's a Bomb in the Plane"

An unruly passenger who was being removed from a flight, threatens to blow the plane up as police officer removed him from the jet.


The pilot said the passenger had outbursts throughout the entire flight from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta and even started throwing items at fellow passengers.

According to the arresting officer, the pilot said the man had been disruptive during the entire hour-and-a-half flight from Ft. Lauderdale, including throwing things at other passengers and having verbal outbursts.

Police officers had to restrain the man and remove him from the aircraft. According to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for a medical evaluation.

Authorities say no bomb was found on the plane and that charges are pending.
