Welcoming to Glasgow, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, the High Commissioner ofNigeria to the UK.



The Nigerian Community Scotland, and Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK)  has organised a Town Hall meeting and briefing with Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, the High Commissioner of Nigeria to the UK on Saturday the 18th October 2014






The High Commissioner arrived Glasgow Central Station at 1:00pm today for the event with a high powered delegation made up of High Commission Ministers and heads of departments and the Chair and executives of CANUK and other members of the Nigerian community from England.

The High Commissioner, was welcomed at arrival by members of the Nigerian community in Glasgow.
His entourage moved to the Central Mosque where he prayed and visited some Nigerian Businesses afterwards.


















The High Commissioner will chair the Town Hall meeting on Saturday. Venue is:

Time: Registration and Arrival from 3.00pm Prompt (Guests are  expected to be seated before the High Commissioners arrival)

Dinner Buffet follows at Army Reserve Centre, 21 Jardine Street, off Maryhill Road, G20 6JU @ 8:00pm.
