The event which was held at David Lloyd Center in Glasgow was well attended by 'ndi' Igbo, with their friends and family.
The Igbo Welfare Union Glasgow is a registered charity and open to all Igbo indigenes in Glasgow.
It's main objective is to bring all Igbo people in Glasgow together while providing a platform for support and promotion of Igbo cultural heritage.

Highlight activities of the day includes, presentation and breaking of kola nut. This was followed by music performance, refreshments, (3 course Buffet), performance by Akwunaechenyi Dance Group,Masquerade music, African story telling and Santa presentation of gifts to the children.

Speaking , to our reporter at the event, Mr. Chuks Ogbu, the Chairman, Igbo Welfare Union Glasgow, explained that this is an annual event targeted at celebrating the end of the year and bringing families together.
