The bus finally came, I got in and said 'good morning' to the driver before making my payment, he totally ignored it. Oh well, it didn't bother me.
I needed to take another to board another bus to get to my destination. Got into it, driver was to check tickets, I presented mine with a smile and 'good morning' at this point, your guess is as good as mine.
As I sat on the bus making my journey, I got prompted to write this post. Why bother saying 'good morning' if people will not be kind enough to respond to it? Is it a culture thing?
Back home, where I come from, children and younger persons will get told off for not greeting. Here, no one seem to bother about it and when you greet some people, they look at you like, "have you got a problem"?
Oh well, good morning everyone and have an amazing day.
